In light of the growing global challenges—armed conflicts, climate change, and socio-economic instability—Europe’s future relies on the talent of young researchers. In response to this urgent need, and under the sponsorship of the current EELISA Governing Board Chairs from SSSA and SNS, the EELISA leadership has issued a joint statement underscoring the critical importance of nurturing and retaining the next generation of researchers to address these pressing issues
This statement was signed at the EELISA Governing Board meeting at Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna and Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa on November 18th and 19th, 2024.
